You won't be able to earn gold or progress reputation with the various factions in Sea of Thieves as Custom Servers are not intended to be just so you can perform PvE content without fear of PvPers sinking your boat. If someone has a Xbox Live gold account on their 'home' xbox console, then anyone on that Xbox console can play games like they have gold membership. Only a few content creators and certain groups within the Sea of Thieves community will be able to access these private servers, and those servers won't work the same as the live game. I bought Sea of Thieves digitally and I can play this game on my Windows 10 gaming PC while she can play on our Xbox One using her non-Gold Xbox Live account. These servers won't be accessible to just anyone. Sea of Thieves has just announced that they're "going to bring an early Alpha version of Custom Servers to Sea of Thieves as a tool for selected creators and community groups to utilize for community events." We've been calling for private servers here at TheGamer after our own experiences on Sea of Thieves left a bitter taste in our mouths, and it looks like Rare is taking the bait. While combat at sea can be thrilling, having your ship sunk by the same group of PvP professionals over and over can get tired real fast. Sea of Thieves is seeing a lot of new players thanks to its recent release on Steam, and a lot of those players are finding out that Sea of Thieves has a bit of a griefer problem. Sea of Thieves is finally getting private servers. The following is a list of all the current in-game Emotes. We've asked for it, and Rare listened. For a full list of Emote Bundles, see Emote Bundles.
